About

A Special Place To Connect With God And Others

We may be a small church in a small town but we have a big heart. If you are seeking a place to love and be loved, then you have found it. At the Covenant Church of Thomaston, we:

Proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ

Share Life With Each Other

Reach the World in His Name

A Covenant For Our Life Together

Let our interactions with others be based on Colossians 3:11-17.

“…Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. And over all these virtues put on love. . .

Listen to each other with empathy, patience and respect.
Offer to help and support anyone who is in need.
Value each other with God’s love.
Encourage each other to grow in faith, love and wisdom.

We prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit in all situations.

What We Believe

We are united by Christ in a holy covenant of churches empowered by the Holy Spirit to obey the great commandments and the great commission: to love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind, to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to go into all the world and make disciples.

How Do We Dress?

You will find that our members dress in a way that is comfortable to each of them. Some dress up and some come dressed casually.

The important thing is that you feel comfortable and welcomed, however you decide to come. It is not about outward appearances that God is most interested in. He really is working on us individually.

When God looks at us, he is seeing our hearts and our relationship to Him.

Questions?

If you have more questions about us, just ask. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
